Hi fiberfib.

Yes, we understand this.

But in previous years you have had a monopoly of festivals in Spain with very little competition and therefore your tickets have sold well.

There are now at least 6 or 7 major festivals in Spain this year, all competing for the same market.

How are you going to attract the Spanish festival goers to FIB, with Summercase now falling on the same weekend.

My theory is that you will lose a substantial amount of day ticket revenue for the Sat & Sun unless you have a really really big act booked for each night.

In the UK, the festivals all announce their line up in Jan/Feb and therefore sell out some 70,000 - 90,000 tickets in one day.

Last year, you gave periodic updates on how the tickets for FIB were selling.

This year we have heard nothing and can only assume that ticket sales are down because of the lack of quality acts announced and stiff competition from the other festivals.

We have 12 in our party and I've chatted with many others on here with similar size parties who have not yet bought their ticket, awaiting the announcement.

It would be a pity if you could not match the acts booked for other festivals as FIB is a great holiday experience and although the sun/beach are important, it's ultimately the quality of acts that will encourage people to spend theie money at your festival.

I do hope we have some quality acts announced next week.

Totalmente de acuerdo, aunque la actitud de iceman no sea la más apropiada en muchas ocasiones, me ha parecido una chulería importante la de Ernest Grupo salvaje González, no se a que venía lo de la masculinidad, aunque viniéndo de mi pueblo como viene, esa pose de perdonavidas de barrio se puede entender.
