DIE ANTWOORD (ZA) is nothing less than a blog sensation, currently preparing a world domination with their platinum blond pop-rap. The trio's sound is equal parts Ali G, Aqua and Peaches as the spectacular band mixes Afrikaans with English and electro pop with rap. The result is not quite the epitome of good taste from Cape Town's white-trash underclass – but it is surprisingly catchy and quite funny.

DELPHIC (UK) are children of Manchester – home of bands such as New Order and Happy Mondays – and the legacy of these bands is clearly present in the trio's synth-floating pop rock. The young Brits put out one of the first remarkable debut albums in 2010, and Acolyte bodes well for a new decade full of euphoric synthesizers and hot dance floors.

All pieces of the puzzle soon in place
Large parts of this year's music programme are falling into place, but we are still adjusting in an attempt to avoid genre clashes and the like. The final band schedule is expected to be online in mid-June.

HOCUS POCUS (FR) is set with the biggest font sizes at French music festivals. Outside of France it is still only a hard core who knows of their organic electro-acoustic mix of hip hop, funk, soul and jazz. The strong-in-numbers ensemble charms the audience with equal parts elegance, humour and exuberant musicality.

HYPNOTIC BRASS ENSEMBLE (US) aspires to revive the brass-oriented jazz genre. They go at it with guerrilla-style fighting spirit by playing their hip hop-infected jazz brass in subways and on street corners. In the concert halls they have exchanged notes with figures such as Tony Allen, Maxwell and, not least, Gorillaz.

SENSATIONAL & SPECTRE (US) are two of hip hop's more intricate minds. Sensational is widely talked about and respected in the hash-hazy underground circles as one of New York hip hop's most original, babbling and darkly prophetic voices, and Spectre’s productions are equally recognised in the underground where he is also known as ’The Ill Saint’. With this double billing you can prepare yourself for a trip into a tangled jungle of bass-heavy beats, narcotic wavelengths and twisted rhymes.


Band schedule ready in mid-June

CHICO TRUJILLO (CHL) blends traditional, Colombian-inspired cumbia with ska and psychedelic rock sounds in a seven-men-strong formation – and today the band plays its energetic party rock everywhere, from stadiums and festivals to small clubs.

LES ESPOIRS DE CORONTHIE (GUI) play their spartan instruments with the same proud self-confidence and love as other, more privileged fellow townsmen play their turntables. Three singers in front complete the impression of a new West African star ensemble with equal parts musical glow and social indignation.

KELLERMENSCH (DK) plays hard-hitting rock full of crushing guitars, clenched fists and roaring vocals. Yet, the literary-minded band is not metal in the strict sense. The legacy of, for instance, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen is also profound.

MOURITZ/HØRSLEV PROJEKTET (DK) serves up heart-tingling evergreens with appeal far beyond the literary salons. Mads Mouritz provides a backdrop of rock and pop to the black-haired author Lone Hørslev's humorous and poetic depictions of love, spirits and dreams about a TV show.

NEDRY (UK) blends dubstep and nerdy laptop electronica with 90s trip hop, making the result sound both nostalgic and brand-new. In addition, the band’s Japanese lead singer Ayu Okakita adds both femininity and vulnerability to the electrically spinning tunes.

Orange Stage opens with Danish music this year. However, the sound of When Saints Go Machine is so international that the band could just as well be from New York, Paris, London – or all of these cities at once. We are looking forward to giving When Saints Go Machine the opportunity to win over new hearts with their romantic electro pop.

Primero, es roskilde, da igual quien toque allí, es un marinador pero mejor aun.
Segundo, si, a mi tambien me parece flojo.

El sabado tampoco esta mal. Jueves y viernes han quedado reguleros, pero aun asi podre ver varias cositas mas pequeñas en las que tenia bastante interes.

El domingo me recuerda al viernes del año pasado....vaya concatenacion de conciertos:

jacks, conseguirme una puta pulsera. Me disloco la mano si hace falta, pero el domingo es de escandalo. Joder, voy a mirar que cuesta una entrada de día.

pd: y es mucho mejor que el viernes del año pasado.

Para mi es de un nivel parecido, pero me quedo con aquel viernes de The Mars Volta, NIN , etc.....
Y si, en general el cartel es mas flojito que otros años....

Flaco si tan interesado estas, cuelate cojones, que la valla que delimita el camping piojoso y la zona de conciertos es muy facil de saltar, por lo que pude ver hace 2 años, lo que no se si para entrar al camping (que no creo) tienes que llevar pulsera
